Welcome to Likely (OhSoVeryLikely.com). These Terms govern your use of the Likely website and services (“Likely,” “we,” “us”). Likely is operated by [your legal entity], [address]. By creating an account or using Likely, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. What Likely is
Likely is a marketplace that helps people post what they need or what they’re offering and surfaces likely matches nearby. We provide the platform and the matching and AI tools. We are not a party to — and not responsible for — any agreement, transaction, payment, or exchange between users. Deals you make with other users are between you and them.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to use Likely.
- We use passwordless “magic link” sign-in by email. Keep access to your email secure — anyone with your inbox can access your account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of what you post.
3. Beta service
Likely is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed; the service may have downtime; and data could be lost. The service is provided “as is” during this period (see Section 9).
4. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of the posts and messages you create. By posting, you grant Likely a license to store, display, and process that content to operate the service (including generating embeddings and AI suggestions — see Section 6). You agree not to:
- post anything illegal, fraudulent, or that you don’t have the right to offer;
- offer prohibited items or services (for example weapons, drugs, stolen goods, or anything unlawful where you are);
- harass, threaten, deceive, or spam other users;
- misrepresent yourself, your posts, or your prices;
- scrape, attack, or otherwise interfere with the service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Credits and payments
- Likely sells “credits” (✦) — abstract units that power our AI features (such as AI Sift and the negotiation assistant). Credits are not money, have no cash value, and are not a deposit.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- New accounts may receive a starting credit grant at our discretion; promotional credits may expire or be withdrawn.
- Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Prices and credit costs may change.
6. AI features
Likely uses automated matching and AI tools. To provide them, the content of your posts — and, for the negotiation assistant, the messages in that negotiation — is sent to our AI/model providers for processing. AI output, including match rankings, “sift” verdicts, and drafted messages, is assistive, generated automatically, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you act on or send it, and you should not rely on AI suggestions as professional, legal, or financial advice.
7. Privacy and communication
Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy. Likely relays messages between matched users and keeps your contact details private unless you choose to share them. Don’t share other people’s private information or use the service to send unsolicited marketing.
8. Termination
You may stop using Likely and delete your posts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Some records (such as transaction history) may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.
9. Disclaimers
Likely is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that matches will be suitable, that other users are who they claim to be, that transactions will complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You interact with other users at your own risk — meet safely and use your judgment.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Likely and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with other users or from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or US $50. [Adjust for your jurisdiction.]
